Frankenweenie is an animation movie directed, created and produced by Tim Burton. It is an adaptation of the short version he made in 1984, and is with no doubt one of his best masterpieces.

Tim Burton is back to his first love, animation movie which gives some fresh air to his recent work, criticized for getting more and more distant from what his first fans used to love.

The movie is in black and white and composed of strange characters typical of Tim Burton's universe.

It tells the story of a young boy, Victor, whose dog Sparky passed away. Through scientific experimentations, he manages to brink his beloved dog back to life, degenerating into a crazy race among his classmates creating uncontrollable monsters.
