Indus Valley Civilization
Located in Pakistan, thought to have begun around 2600 BC, the Indus Valley Civilization was among the largest early urban settlements in the world. It was scientifically found that the civilization was sophisticated and technologically advanced, and offered the first sign of sanitation systems. By the year 1500 BC the civilization was abandoned with no explanation.
