Fern Canyon is a short hike from Gold Bluff Beach in northern California. The steep canyon walls are smothered with thick, tall ferns of myriad species, deer, chain, five-finger, lady and sword ferns that zip you back in time to the prehistoric world. Yes, this was where "Jurassic Park" was filmed.
