An offence committed by the defense in such a way that in the referee's opinion that player(s) denied the offense an obvious goal scoring opportunity by breaking the Laws of the Game. These offenses are punished immeadiatly by a red card, and because by nature occur inside the 18 yard box, the offense recieves a penalty kick as well.
