Avril is a Kenyan singer. Born Judith Nyambura Mwangi, she began performing at a very young age. At Lion’s Primary School in Nakuru, she was active in the Drama Club. Her family later moved to Uganda, where she eventually attended Makerere University. She began pursuing singing professionally while she was attending university. Since then, she has won numerous awards for her music and style.
