This book tells a story about 2 different woman, living in the same suburb, never meet each other before, and they have different ways of raising their children.

Tessa, a mother of 2 lovely children, Ruby and Frank, her husband is a well-known pediatric surgeon. She recently given up her career, she believes that becoming a housewife, taking care of her children and husband is what she wants, is her way of achieving happiness. Though, her mother already warned her about not leaving her career and dreams.

Valerie, an attorney and a single mother to a 6 year old Charlie, her boyfriend i.e. Charlie's father left her, she never heard from Charlie's father and sadly her ex never know anything about her pregnancy.

And one night, tragic accident of Charlie changes everything.
