interrupt vector pointer (IPTR) bits
A field that identifies the 2K page where the interrupt vectors currently reside in the system. The IPTR bits enable you remap the interrupt vectors to RAM for boot-loaded operations.
At reset, IPTR = 0. These bits are stored in the processor mode status register (PMST).
