vertical blanking (VBLNK)
Bidirectional vertical timing signals that occur once per frame (once per field for interlaced systems) and have a pulse width defined as an integral number of lines (halflines for an interlaced system). VBLNK is used to disable pixel capture and display during vertical retrace. See also blanking.
