Big Fish is a movie directed by Tim Burton dating back to 2003. The main character, Edward Bloom, appears for the first time as an old man full of incredible stories he likes to tell about life. The movie then goes back to the time he was young, illustrating the tales he used to tell. This movie plays with the thin border between tale and reality, what really happened to Eward Bloom and what he made up, without really making the distinction clear.The title "Big Fish" refers to E. Bloom's dream (and need) to be an outstanding and remarkable person through all the stories he tells.
